I've been trying to get more serious about photograpy and video production. I've always been interested in it and fiddled around but since early summer 2018, I've been taking it seriously - trying to learn everything I can by reading, watching and practicing. My goal is to get so good that my current kit (Panasonic FZ300 Bridge Camera) is holding me back and I need something higher end. I'm a long way from that! The FZ300 is an amazing camera for someone at my level. Is it the best lens and sensor? Not even close, but it offers the versatility in settings that you would normally need a higher-end camera and many lenses to accomplish and this lets me try different techniques. That said, the lens and sensor are really quite good! I've started shooting in raw format and am really impressed with the look of the shots I'm getting. The 300 is also a great video camera and will shoot 4K video.
