The M-Audio Nova is mechanically one of the nicest donor bodies I have come across so far. The internals are identical to the Sterling ST55 which makes them ideal to rebuild with our BFM-55 board. Like the Sterling, the body cylinder is made of heavy turned brass and it has a very attractive and functional headbasket.
This build was done with a K47-style Center-Terminated capsule which when paired with the CineMag transformer gives an absolutely huge tone.
This mic includes the optional internal card/omni pattern switch (you must unscrew the body to access it). It has been de-branded and painted matte blue with our badge affixed.
This mic does not have the original m-Audio packaging or shockmount. (The Boseen mount works perfectly for this mic)
