Description
The MXL 5000 is one of my favorite donor bodies. It ticks all the boxes: Good weight and feel, nice headbasket, and it features external Pad and Filter switches making it ideal for my BFM Transformer-coupled circuit. The circuit also features an optional internal Omni/Card switch which on this mic is very easy to get to. As usual, you can choose from several great Transformers and between k47 and ck12 style capsules.
